SLO

what i have learned from this class is to create a argument. And to create a argument, one must read through the information carefully. a student must achieve the goals of close reading. close reading helps one to focus on the rhetorical questions rather than just general thesis driven essays. while having a close reading on a certain paper, audience will be able to locate the literature devices and find out how the author have been trying to convey the readers through the process of giving imageries. a great example would be argumentative analysis essay, the author will trying to create a argument and analyze the pros and cons in different position, which will help the audience to see in different perspective. a great essay must not only covers a single view point, but also multiple view points, thus become a convincing paper.

  1. Glad to see that you learned the importance of multiple perspectives as the key to argumentation. You have a sharp mind and I hope that you let that part of yourself out in your English writing as often as possible. Watching you get your ideas out in your writing is inspiring!

It's been a pleasure to work with you this quarter.
