SLO
what i have learned from this class is to create a argument. And to create a argument, one must read through the information carefully. a student must achieve the goals of close reading. close reading helps one to focus on the rhetorical questions rather than just general thesis driven essays. while having a close reading on a certain paper, audience will be able to locate the literature devices and find out how the author have been trying to convey the readers through the process of giving imageries. a great example would be argumentative analysis essay, the author will trying to create a argument and analyze the pros and cons in different position, which will help the audience to see in different perspective. a great essay must not only covers a single view point, but also multiple view points, thus become a convincing paper.

Performance, feedback, revision
I think that being able to do revisions on certain ideas are important. this makes human able to correct himself from mistakes. mistakes are from wrong decisions and decisions are made through process of thoughts. the process of human thoughts are not computers, we human often make mistakes. for example, the essays we write in class, one often mistakenly write something that means the other unintended, sentence structure, grammar, misspell, or sentences that just doesn't make sense at all.
in class, we make revisions from our drafts, this is a good way to find out that if there can be a improvement on the paper. through the work done on the paper, the student will be able to revision and learn a better way of writing.
